Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat, soothes irritability, nourishes the Blood and calms the Spirit.
Rx. Curcumae Yu Jin 12g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, regulates Qi flow, clears the Heart and Pericardium, opens the Orifices and alleviates pain.
With Chai Hu, for Liver Qi and Blood Stagnation with flank pain and distention.
With Dan Shen, for Heat with Blood Stasis causing chest Bi.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 9g Spreads Liver Qi and relieves Stagnation.
With Bai Shao, for Liver Blood Deficiency with Liver Qi Stagnation and vertigo, dizziness, thoracic and costal pain, due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
With Xiang Fu, Bai Shao and Zhi Shi, for Liver Qi Stagnation with cold extremities.
Fr. Aurantii Immaturus Zhi Shi 9g Breaks up Stagnant Qi, reduces accumulation, descends Qi and transforms Phlegm.
With Bai Shao, for abdominal pain due to Qi and Blood Stagnation.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 9g Nourishes the Blood, astringes Yin, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and alleviates pain.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 9g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi and alleviates pain.
Rz. Cyperi Xiang Fu 9g Spreads and regulates Liver Qi and alleviates pain.
With Chai Hu, for Qi Stagnation.
With Chai Hu and Bai Shao, for pain and distention in the chest and flanks.
With Chuan Xiong, for Qi Stagnation combined with Blood Stasis.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 4.5g Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
Lignum Dalbergiae Odoriferae Jiang Xiang 1-2g Disperses Blood Stasis, invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi and alleviates pain.
